Xiaoyu has been professionally engaged in sand art performances and related work
since 2010. She has been interviewed and reported on multiple occasions
by China Central Television (CCTV) as well as various provincial and
municipal television stations.
It was a great honor to appear on the CCTV News program on the eve of
Chinese New Year in 2012. She was also invited to create sand art performances
and give interviews for SBS during the Chinese New Year celebrations
in 2018 and 2022, and to create sand art video works for the
Australian National University, among other projects.
To date, Xiaoyu has been invited to perform live sand art at thousands of events,
accumulating a wealth of stage performance experience. With dynamic music,
fleeting images, and magical hands that breathe life into fine sand,
Xiaoyu presents a visual feast of endless transformations.

During the 2022 Lunar New Year, Xiaoyu was invited to create a New Year sand art video for SBS. The theme Xiaoyu worked on was 'Bidding Farewell to the Old and Welcoming the New.'

In 2018, Xiaoyu had the honor of designing a sand art piece for the Australian National University (ANU) to celebrate the Lunar New Year, telling the story of traditional Chinese New Year culture.

Xiaoyu was invited to attend a concert in Shandong, where she kicked off the event with a stunning sand art performance.

Xiaoyu was invited to participate in a new car model launch event for the automotive industry. Through a live sand art performance, she vividly illustrated the new model, allowing the audience to gain a more intuitive and lively understanding of the new car and experience it firsthand.

In 2012, Xiaoyu was invited to attend the Beijing launch event of Steinway's unique art-case piano. Xiaoyu used sand art to depict the theme: "When the piano meets painting, when the piano meets ballet..."

Xiaoyu was invited to perform sand art at the Alxa Cultural Festival evening gala in Ordos, China. With her beautiful sand art as the backdrop, the orchestra performed live, creating a perfect visual feast.

In 2012, Xiaoyu was invited by China Central Television (CCTV) to record a special sand art program titled "The Gift of Going Home" and was interviewed during the show. Xiaoyu appeared on CCTV's news broadcast on the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year.

In 2014, Air China and Boeing held a grand aircraft delivery ceremony in Seattle, USA, where Air China officially introduced its first Boeing 747-8. During the delivery ceremony, a sand art performance depicted a story of heritage.
